Produced from 1954 to 1957. Distinguishing features:
• larger Commer badge than R Series • chrome strip running across front above name badge
C Series Mark III Interim
Produced from 1957 to 1958. Distinguishing features:
• larger Commer badge than Mk III
• 4 mouldings of unequal length above grille extend around to doors
• wider grille bars than Mk III with fewer slats
C Series Mark IV (CD)
Produced from 1959 to 1962. Distinguishing features:
• one piece windscreen extending higher into cab
• 1 moulding either side of name badge (reduced from 4 mouldings on the Mk III Interim)
• large grill panel surrounding headlamps
