Two Aveling-Barford LD55s - a tanker and a crane - owned by Merriman-Meighan of Leicester engaged on the Stockley Park construction in the late 1980s. Ironically they are parked where the Wimpey repair workshops once stood, just off Rigby Lane in Hayes, which had probably witnessed Dumptruks in the past. (Jonathan Pye)
