1919 Walker LW6737

1919 Walker LW6737

Entered by Harrods Ltd. This old K-model of American parentage is typical of electric vans operated by Harrods since the end of the First World War. This particular vehicle was originally owned by the Chloride Electrical Company and entered the Harrods fleet in the late 'twenties. It has been restored to its original condition by the company. The enormous array of batteries supplies a motor compactly mounted in the rear axle and five forward speeds are available. The mileometer will be found in the front wheel hub!
