A.E.C. Routemaster with Park Royal H36/28R bodywork, the first production Routemaster new in 1958, was exhibited on Park Royal's stand at the Commercial Motor Show in that year. Of interest in this photo taken at Southall Works are the test rig in primer (near RM8's platform) and the white truck behind the RM, which is the experimental V8-powered 3VTG6R tractor unit with American-style cab.
