One of two BBC Outside Broadcast Mobile Television Masts built on AEC Regal Mk III chassis circa 1948. The mast is a Merryweather 100' fire escape ladder, the aerial being mounted on a remote control swivelling and tilting platform at the head of the top ladder. (Mike Cotton)
