Anyone familiar with the 1962 film 'The Iron Maiden' will recall the battleship grey engine 'Dreadnought' driven by Admiral Sir Digby Trevelyan played with his usual gusto by Noel Purcell.

That engine was 'William V', 1914 Burrell No 3610 J6857, seen on parade at Old Warden, 17/9/11. (NF)
