It received a modern-style cab in the 60s along with a rebuilt body, and was finally taken out of service in 1974. It then passed into preservation and little has been seen of it since. EWN has now been acquired by a North Devon Scammell owner and made an appearance at the Fairground Transport Weekend at the Fairground Heritage Museum in September 2009.
