Clive Williams writes ... XTR528 was on the 1970 HCVC London to brighton run in Class J Military Vehicles and was described as "Austin K4 platform Lorry built 1945. Entered by Ronald Sibley, Romsey, Hants. Built originally for the service with the Army in Europe, it was 'demobbed' in 1958 and used by a haulage contractor until 1963, when it was purchased by the present owner. Still in regular use delivering solid fuel in the Southampton area, plated and tested."
