In September 1967 the late John Carter arranged a rally of the Pre'50 American Automobile Club at Shottesbrooke near Maidenhead. The Essex range was built by the Hudson Motor Company. Nice Cornish number plate AF9290 on this 1924 model, and the Model T van next to it was in the colours of Bennett's of Shirley Croydon who these days rally the nice green Bedford C type 375TMF.
