This 1926 Leyland was Rangiora Fire Brigade's first motorized appliance and served from 1927 until the arrival of a Karrier/Carmichael in 1960. Normally on display at Ferrymead it attended the brigade's family open day on April 6th 2008. (Howard Pettigrew)
