1975 AEC Mandator OUC842R 2TG4R33451 from Chad Evans, built for Shell Oil UK and based until 1991 at Mancheter Airport. When in service the Mandator was coupled to a low profile trailer designed for passing under aircraft wings. Gross vehicle weight 65 tons, overall length of tractor and trailer was 60 feet. The unit was uprated with a 3" pin 5th wheel, double chassis rails, 1200 x 20 tyres and uprated axles. The hyraulic tank held 200 gallons. (NF)
