Entered by W. Rivett, Leatherhead, Surrey. Originally constructed as a 6-wheeled artic for 12-ton payloads and supplied to new to A.F. Hancock Ltd of Sheffield. Returned to Scammell in 1937 abd converted to a haulage tractor for 80-ton payloads. Supplied to Chas. D. Holmes of Hull to transport ships' engines and boilers. 1927 Dennis G Type DN9617 originally used by Rowntrees as a show van. Later converted with a Morris cab, platform body and breakdown jib.
