1941 Austin K2 GLC889 in as-bought condition in 1972. It was immediately put to work towing vintage cars around the country before being restored some years later. This picture was taken on the way back from Birmingham to Plymouth with a Riley on the trailer. The cafe, sadly long gone, was Kempsey near Worcester. The whole trip was on the A38, before the M5 was open. (John Corah)
