The hugely successful Matador Medium Artillery Tractor formed the basis of AEC's Armoured Command Vehicle, an armour-plated mobile control room that saw plenty of active service during World War II. Nicknamed 'Dorchester', four hundred & sixteen of these ACVs were built.
