Unfrozen STL2680 (FXT403, 06617276) of the 1942 17STL17/1 type at the 409/411 stand in West Croydon. These bodies were built new but to a spartan (austerity) spec, with only an ultimate and via blind at the front, ultimate only at the back and a normal aperture over the platform. (David Simpson)
