Two AEC Mammoth Major Mk IIIs at Brighton

Two AEC Mammoth Major Mk IIIs at Brighton

PLF600 was originally a High Test Peroxide refueller built in 1955 by Saunders Roe (Anglesey) Ltd to a Ministry of Supply specification. Did SARO also construct the cab I wonder?

Outwardly similar to PLF is MLE411 which we know has a Hampshire Car Bodies cab. It too was originally a tanker, but a rather more conventional one. (NF)
